Nintendo celebrates the release of The Legend of Zelda®: Phantom Hourglass™ with an action-packed launch party at the Nintendo World® store in Rockefeller Plaza. Video game lovers of all ages will line up for an early look at the latest Zelda® game and a chance to win exciting prizes. Fans will have their picture taken with the game’s hero, Link; dress as their favorite Zelda characters for a costume contest; show off their Zelda knowledge in trivia quizzes; and be among the first to play Phantom Hourglass in a live multi-player tournament. From 2 - 4 p.m., attendees will have a chance to purchase the highly anticipated title the day before its official release.

Reader Fathrim found a Japanese article that mentions the rumored conference that we heard would take place on the 10th. The article doesn’t state it as rumor though, it says it as a fact. It was a very tough decision, but ultimately my family and I decided it wasn’t the right move for us. My last day at Nintendo is Friday, Sept. 28. I’ve helped launched many products over the years, but I think what we’ve done in the last few years has been the most exciting. Kirby's Avalanche™ (Super NES®, 1-2 players, rated E for Everyone, 800 Wii Points): Everyone's favorite round, pink hero takes a break from swallowing his enemies to put your brain to work in this fast-paced puzzle game. Players take control of Kirby and match wits with well-known enemies from the Kirby series (including his archrival, King Dedede) in an effort to win the First Annual Dream Land Avalanche Competition. The simple-but-addictive game play revolves around brightly colored blobs and boulders. Wow what a way to get started with the last week of September huh a Nintendo employee gets fired.Kotaku has some Nintendo news job related and here is some of it: "In case anyone needed a reminder that nothing's ever anonymous on the internet, and yes, your ass can get fired for stuff you put in your personal blog ... or MySpace page ... or Facebook page ... comes the sad tale of Jessica Zenner, a 23 year old employee of Nintendo, was fired for her personal blog (allegedly). Of course, there's a she said, company said element here, and while Zenner says higher ups never informed her of any Nintendo policy on blogging, a spokeswoman for the company said "[Zenner] was expressly discouraged from doing what she did. I started on the Link's Crossbow Training section.It has the factsheet info and 1 Screenshot of the Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training. 
I updated the Wii and DS Menus with the following games so far: 
I added Mario Kart Wii Wii Fit and fixed the following Wii sections: Wii Play and the Brain Age Wii Degree sections. 
DS games added Mario Party DS Section. 
Don't worry i will be updating more things as i go a long since there is not much big news this gives me time to check up on some sections that i have yet to reupdate due to lack of info or news on it at the time.

Up until now we thought "The Bunnies" were a product of Ubisoft designers, but in a shocking move today representatives of this Rabbid race have actually landed on earth, spreading mayhem and hilarious destruction across our planet. What's worse, gaming press across the globe are powerless to stop it, as the necessary Wii reader disks are nowhere to be found. When contacting Ubisoft representatives for an explanation, IGN soon learned that this was not the work of their team, as the company is - along with the rest of the world - watching in utter shock." Nintendo is working on a major overhaul to Nintendo.com to support the continued success of Nintendo DS and Wii. As we prepare for this huge site update, Nintendo must unfortunately close the Nintendo NSider Forums message boards indefinitely beginning Sept. 17, 2007. 
 
For more than four years, these NSider Forums have fostered engaging, robust debates, a strong community and friendships. While their future remains uncertain, in the interim we invite our fans to build on the spirit of community by starting their own Nintendo discussion sites. IGN has some Wii and DS news and here is some of it: "Official NPD data for August is in and not surprisingly, Nintendo's two systems rank number-one and number-two in overall American hardware sales respectively. August marks the second month that Wii took the top spot, with 403,000 in sales. DS, meanwhile, sucked in another 383,000 buyers. The third best-selling system for the month was Xbox 360 at 276,000 units, a noticeable increase over September and one obviously spurred by Microsoft's recently announced price drop. Approximately 201,000 people bought a PlayStation 2 and 115,000 a PSP. Trailing behind all other major systems was PlayStation 3 with about 130,000 units sold." The Seattle Mariners and Nintendo are thanking fans for helping make the Nintendo® Fan Network (NFN) at Safeco Field a success. The first 1,500 Fans who bring their Nintendo DS™ to the game on Saturday, Sept. 15, when the Mariners take on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, will be offered free access to the NFN. Additionally, Nintendo will give away 16 limited-edition Nintendo DS Lite systems featuring the Mariners logo and autographed by Mariners players. The Nintendo Fan Network (NFN) was offered exclusively during the 2007 season at Safeco Field.
