The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages – Link™ has been summoned to Labrynna by the Triforce to bend the very fabric of time to save the Oracle. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons – The land of Holodrum is slowly withering. With the seasons in tumult and mysterious forces running rampant, Link sets off on a quest to master the seasons themselves and put an end to evil. In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS/Nintendo 3DS XL system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. Nintendo has some Donkey Kong Country Returns News and here is some of it: "Players all over the world fell in love with many memorable, adventure-filled moments in the well-received Donkey Kong Country Returns game for Wii: jumping around the game's lush and colorful side-scrolling levels; clinging to the side of a swinging platform; riding on a speeding mine cart; and leaping from barrel to barrel between foreground and background. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, launching May 24 for the Nintendo 3DS system, includes all these great moments, but also offers players a host of new features that were not available in the original Wii game and a beautiful new 3D makeover that makes the graphics look more impressive than ever before.

"Even if you played the original, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is optimized for portable play with new options and new levels," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "The new 3D graphics pop off the screen and add an even greater sense of depth to the layered environments."

To optimize Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D for portable play, "New Mode" has been added to the game. In New Mode, players have access to new items and game-play features. These items include portable "DK Barrels," which players can use at any time to have access to Diddy Kong; "Green Balloons," used to protect Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong from falling off a cliff or ledge; and "Crash Guards," which make players temporarily invincible in rocket barrel or mine cart areas. Nintendo has some Sega news and here is some of it: "The next title in SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog franchise will be exclusive to Nintendo's Wii U home console and Nintendo 3DS portable system. Nintendo Global President Satoru Iwata announced the details of a new partnership with SEGA during a new Nintendo Direct video announcement today. Sonic Lost World is a new action platforming game, and more information about it will be announced before the E3 2013 video game trade show begins on June 11.

The Nintendo Direct also announced Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games for Wii U, and revealed that additional SEGA Game Gear games would be coming to the Virtual Console service for Nintendo 3DS. Outside of SEGA news, Nintendo announced that select Wii U games featured at E3 2013 will soon be playable at participating Best Buy stores, the launch date for New Super Luigi U, new Pikmin 3 game details and additional information about a variety of previously announced Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games.

"The onetime rivalry between Mario and Sonic has grown into a friendship that has never been closer," said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime.
