I will be launching my E3 project within the next 2 days so get ready for E3.Also for those who are going hope you have fun at it.
As the game's name states, New Super Mario Bros is a thoroughly original title. While the whimsical gameplay and mechanics are rooted in the older Mario games-jumping on enemies, shattering blocks, powering up with mushrooms, and running across precarious platforms while trying to rescue Princess Peach from the vile clutches of Bowser are all here-the bulk of the game is completely fresh: new levels, new power-ups, new moves, new enemies, you name it.Amazing powers provide some of the most obvious additions to Mario's formula.Alongside the usual Super Mushroom (which makes Mario grow from regular Mario to Super Mario) and the fireflower (which transforms him into fireball-tossin' fire Mario) a bulbous megasized mushroom can turn Mario into a giant of screen-filling proportions, while a petite blue mushroom can shirk him down to miniscule size-perfect for getting into tiny passages or bouncing sky-high off of enemies. And even though Mario's staying grounded in this adventure-no powers of flight this time out-he can acquire a blue koopa shell that lets him turn into a human demolition machine; he'll tuck himself into the shell and run wild, bouncing off walls, busting blocks, and plowing over any enemy that's in his way.Mario's got some snazzy new moves to show off, as well.Taking a cue from his 3-D adventures, he can proform a butt-bruising ground pound (by pressing down in midjump) and a high-fly triple jump (by hopping three times in sequence while running); some stages even let him swing from rpoes or sidle along drangerous ledges. But Mario's most dynamic new 2-D mechanic is the ability to bounce off of walls, which first joined his repertoire in Super Mario Sunshine. The simple but fun addition of wall-kicking (press the jump button while sliding down a wall) opens up amazing exploration possibilities for the world's most famous plumber (and can be a life-saver near bottomless pits).Mario's also got his old-school techniques, like sliding down slopes, running and ducking to get through small gaps, and carrying koopa shells for later use. Before his adventure is over, Mario will need to make use of them all.
Yoshi's a no-show, but this gaint dino lends a flipper. The pic is shown on page 28 in Nintendo Power Vol 203.Beware the perils of the fortress stages. This long read is from my copy of Nintendo Power Vol 203 also on page 28 so hope you had fun reading it.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has said that his company is not interested in waging a technology war against Microsoft and Sony, whose next generation consoles promise more power and in turn high-definition graphics. The Big N's still-codenamed Revolution system is in contrast designed to be quiet, small and affordable. Nintendo has invested millions in an innovative new controller that has the potential to permanently change the way people play games - for the better, the company hopes. As a result, players would be hard-pressed to find any Nintendo executive willing to go on the record about Revolution technical specs. In fact, former Nintendo of Europe marketing chief, Jim Merrick, indicated in an interview last year that the company may never divulge details on Revolution's horsepower to the public. You can read the rest of this from IGN above.

More than 20 years ago, these aspects of the original Super Mario Bros. mesmerized players for the first time, and the landscape of video gaming changed irrevocably. Now, with New Super Mario Bros. headed to the Nintendo DS, players will get to experience those beloved elements and so much more in a completely new Mario platforming adventure.

If you can't watch the web chat Shigeru Miyamoto tells us how Mario and zelda would work with the Revolution controller and here is what he had to say for those who can't watch it."As game creators what we do is improve the quality of the game contents appearance on the monitors, that's all. However, now that we are creating the Revolution and the very unique Revolution controller, things are going to be drastically changed. How to with play video games itself will be changed, specifically how you are going to face your TV set, that's going to be changed significantly. Specifically as you may know by now that the Nintendo is going to integrate the pointing device into the hand held remote controller. Just imagine, all you have to do is point somewhere to the TV screen and click some buttons and something happens; that image must be very very interesting for you simply because it is going to give you an unusual and unprecedented video game experiences. It's similar to how you have already felt about touching the DS controller, DS panel switch for the first time with your own hands and now you may opt to choose the separate controllers held in both hands separately, so your hands are now going to be as free as ever and you are going to be engaged in unprecedented action. So that what we can imagine is that even though the game itself can be simple enough it's going to give you sensationally unique gaming experiences. We are now making Mario jump by pointing and clicking just like that, and Zelda just suppose how far you can swing the controller you swing he soars, just like that .
There were 11,000 questions.Shigeru Miyamoto is answering questions for almost everyone you can check out the web chat here. You have to have Windows Media player to view this web chat.He speaks about Nintendo DS Revolution and there games the way Revolution and much more so don't miss out.

It's really amazing to see that Tetris still has legs nearly 20 years after its creation. This puzzle design not only kickstarted the "falling piece" genre, but even after countless times of trying to out do Tetris, no one's really been able to topple the king. As long as there are videogame systems, Tetris will be there to play. I am at best a reluctant role-playing game fan and at worst somebody who just doesn't care about the genre. I tend to believe this is because the majority of RPGs fall into the fantasy category and I am by nature someone who favors science fiction. Upstart Nibris, a small development studio based in Poland, has revealed that it is working on two projects for Nintendo's next generation console, codenamed Revolution. Nintendo revealed last year that its next generation console, codenamed Revolution, would be able to play back DVD movies, an option not available on GameCube. The company stated at the time that a small attachment would enable DVD movie-playback. Pundits assumed that the Big N would take a cue from Microsoft and release a separately sold dongle to unlock DVD movie options, as Bill Gates and company did with the original Xbox. This explanation seemed to make the most sense given that Revolution's self-loading media bay would play both proprietary GameCube optical discs and Revolution's 12-centimeter optical discs, which are the same size as standard CDs and DVDs.You can read the rest of this from IGN above.
