Puddle – Winner at the Independent Games Festival 2010, Puddle is a game that finds players guiding a puddle of fluid through 49 challenging and diverse levels by tilting the environment left or right. Players must also take into account friction, gravity and temperature, and use various types of liquids to navigate the unique environments that include burning passageways, carnivorous plants and electric currents.

The Cave – Demo Version – The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. Assemble your team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with his or her own unique personality and story. Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS 
Fire Emblem Awakening – Lead an army of knights, mages, archers and other classes into battle to defend a fantasy world teetering on the brink of war. Your army, which grows as the game's epic story progresses, is composed of a brave group of memorable characters with unique abilities. Just plan your attacks carefully – the lives of your soldiers and the future of the world depend on it. Fire Emblem Awakening launches exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 4.

Ikachan – You wake up in an underwater cave at the bottom of an enormous abyss, and there's only one way out. Avoid dangerous obstacles and deadly earthquakes as you search for a way out before it's too late. Use whatever tools you can find in the vast undersea kingdom to escape.

New Downloadable Decoration Sets 
Sparkle Snapshots 3D DLC - Personalize your photographs with two new decoration sets: the "Mario Core Set" and "Mario Kart 7 Set." These new themed sets are now available for purchase in the Sparkle SnapShop, the in-game boutique. Sparkle Snapshots 3D is available in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS/Nintendo 3DS XL system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS™ 
Brain Age™: Concentration Training Demo Version – Brain Age is back with new devilishly difficult brain-training exercises designed by world-famous brain researcher Dr. Ryuta Kawashima. Brain Age: Concentration Training introduces newly designed training exercises that challenge players with activities to help improve their concentration skills and the ability to access their short-term memory. Players only need to spend five minutes a day with the game to try and better their focus and attention skills. The full version of Brain Age: Concentration Training will be available in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS and at retail stores on Feb. 10.

Nintendo News:<a href="http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=37262">TWO ZELDA GAMES, MARIO, MARIO KART AND OTHER FAN-FAVORITE FRANCHISES PLANNED FOR WII U</a> 
Nintendo has some Nintendo News and here is some of it: "Nintendo President Satoru Iwata unleashed Wii U news in an installment of Nintendo Direct today as he outlined Nintendo's future plans for the console. Iwata revealed how the Wii U launch lineup will be bolstered by a long list of top game franchises headed for the new console. These are games that longtime players and newcomers alike will love to play, and everyone will be experiencing them in new ways, thanks to the integrated second-screen experiences enabled by the Wii U GamePad controller. Iwata also detailed a number of enhancements designed to make the Wii U game experience more social, even if people are not playing in the same room.

"The fun of video games is not only just playing games, but also sharing experiences together with people – even though they live far away, their skill levels are different or their experience does not happen at the same time," Iwata said. "We want Wii U to be the system that brings everyone together."

Game News 
•Two Zelda Games: Eiji Aonuma, the producer of The Legend of Zelda series, revealed two entries in the series for Wii U.
•Super Mario is on His Way: The Nintendo EAD Tokyo Software Development team that created the Super Mario Galaxy games for Wii and Super Mario 3D Land for Nintendo 3DS is working on a new 3D Mario action game for Wii U. The game is scheduled to be playable at this year's E3.
•Buckle Up!: Nintendo is also working on a new installment of the hit Mario Kart franchise. This game is also planned to be playable at E3.
•Yarn Yoshi: The team that created Kirby's Epic Yarn is hard at work on the first console game to feature Yoshi as the main character since 1998's Yoshi's Story for Nintendo 64. Takashi Tezuka, director of Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story, is supervising the development of the new game, which is set in a fanciful world of yarn and textiles.

The new Super Smash Bros. installment is still on the way, but will need more development time before details can be revealed. Virtual Console for Wii U: A spring system update will add Virtual Console software to the Nintendo eShop for Wii U. The service will launch right after the spring update and will include a selection of NES and Super NES games, with Game Boy Advance games to be added in the future. The prices for NES and Super NES Virtual Console games for Wii U will be the same as they were for the Virtual Console on Wii. People who have already purchased the Wii version of a certain NES or Super NES Virtual Console game and transferred it to their Wii U console can buy the enhanced Wii U version of the same game for the reduced price of $1 for NES games and $1.50 for Super NES games.

Social and System Enhancements 
•Miiverse Expands to Smartphones: Starting this spring, people will be able to browse Miiverse from their smartphones. Initially the experience will be browser-based, but Nintendo plans to create a dedicated Miiverse app in the future. 
•System Updates: Two major updates are on the way, one in the spring and one in the summer. The updates will introduce a wide range of functionality, such as Virtual Console capabilities and shortening the time it takes users to launch software or return to the menu screen." If you watched the Wii U Direct Video today Nintendo announced Wind Waker with HD Graphics for Wii U and I will add those screenshots on here in just a few minutes after I finish adding the news about it here. If you wanted to play it but did not want to get a gamecube, Wii U is your chance this fall.

Nintendo has a new Nintendo Direct for the Wii U up and here is a small bit about what it is: "Virtual Console Games coming to Wii U eShop. If you had a previous version of a Virtual Console Game you will get to play it on the Gamepad off of the tv and there will be communities for each game as well. If you own a previous version of a VC game you can get it for a reduced price of 1.00 if it is an NES game and 1.50 if it is a SNES game. If you don't own any VC Games you have to pay the 4.99 - 5.99 for NES games and 7.99 - 8.99 for SNES games if you don't own the previous version of the games. Gameboy Advance Games will be coming to the Wii U VC as well as other Platform games later too. They are doing a 30th anniversary of the Famicom system and you can download a game each month for 30 cents for 30 days. The games starting after this Nintendo Direct is over will be starting with Balloon Fight in January. F-Zero in February will follow after that. Punch Out! Featuring Mr. Dream in March, Kirby's Adventure in April, Super Metroid in May, Yoshi in June, and Donkey Kong in July just before the VC service launches later this year." Tokyo Crash Mobs – You need fast reflexes and an eye for strategy to succeed in this puzzle game. With two modes, this game has you covered, whether you're looking for quick play sessions or endurance challenges.

Kirby's Star Stacker – Join Kirby as he stacks falling stars with help from his friends Rick the Hamster, Kine the Sunfish and Coo the Owl. But watch out for King Dedede, as he will try to stop you. With a few quick moves and some well-timed strategy, you can quickly outwit him and move on to the next challenging level. Kirby's Star Stacker was originally released for Game Boy in 1997.

Wii Shop Channel on Wii 
Amazon Instant Video – Watch new release movies and in-season TV episodes, plus thousands of videos available to Amazon Prime members at no additional cost.
