Added: News:Gundam FPS Set For Wii News:Guilty Gear Coming to Wii Fun read:In Defense of The Aging Gamer Fun Read 2:In Defense of The Younger Gamer News:NINTENDO POSTS RECORD YEAR ON STRONG NINTENDO DS SALES, BREAKTHROUGH RECEPTION FOR WII
Nintendo's Press Room has some Sales News and here is some of it: "Nintendo Co., Ltd., today reported final consolidated fiscal year revenues of 966.5 billion yen and operating profits of 226.0 billion yen for the year ending March 31, 2007, an increase of 90 percent and 150 percent, respectively, over the same period one year ago. Both numbers are record highs for the company.
The results are due largely to full-year sales of more than 23 million portable Nintendo DS systems globally, along with 123 million Nintendo DS games. Since introduction, the Nintendo DS has now eclipsed lifetime sales of 40 million systems.
In addition, in less than five months since introduction, the company sold 5.84 million of its new Wii home video game systems globally, virtually every one snapped up immediately by consumers, along with nearly 29 million Wii games. Wii has taken a step toward becoming a cultural phenomenon, appealing widely to both avid and previously disinterested game-playing audiences." You can read the rest of this from Nintendo's Press Room above.
The Wiire has another good article this time on the Younger Gamer about reaching into the well of your mind and recalling your childhood and here is some of it: "Reach into the well of your mind for a moment and recall your childhood - perhaps long ago, perhaps only recently past. What images do you draw? Do you remember that birthday when you gathered every ounce of enthusiasm in your body and ripped open the thin paper barrier keeping you from the latest and greatest video game system, and how marvelous it appeared to your impressionable eyes? Do you remember being amazed with Sonic's speed or Mario's jumps? Do you remember what made you a gamer?" Boy do i remember when i got my first Video Game Console. My Brother Brad already had a Nintendo Entertainment System when i was 2 and i remember him playing it.Yes i played the Nes as well. But it was not until my 10th Birthday on July 18th,1993 that i got my Super Nintendo Entertainment as a birthday gift that i got my first Video Game system. We also got a Sega Genesis as well because of games like Sonic The Hedgehog. So as i stand now being 23 you can tell i have lived through 20 years of Video Gaming starting with Nintendo. Any way you can read the rest of what The Wiire said by clicking the link above.

Several studies indicated that video games are less interesting to older audiences for a variety of reasons, but rarely are those reasons explicitly stated. Do adults suddenly lose all interest in video games, or are there reasons behind this change? After all, 25 seems like a relatively young age to stop caring about something so fun." You can read the rest of this from The Wiire above.
IGN has more Famitsu news and here is some of it: "Wii owners will be getting something that Cube owners missed out on all last generation. According to reports from Japan, the upcoming issue of Famitsu will contain first details on a Wii version of Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core. This is from Nintendo's Press Room but unlike normal there was not an Article or it is messed up.But You know the games if you have the Wii and have went to the Wii Shop Channel.
Nintendo's Press Room has Pokemon Launch Event news and screenshots and here is all of the news and screenshots: "NEW YORK, NY, April 22, 2007 -- Nintendo celebrated the launch of the new Pokémon® Diamond and Pokémon® Pearl games for the hand-held Nintendo DS system with an afternoon of festivities for gamers and Pokémon fans of all ages. Fans lined up to be among the first people in the United States to buy the latest Nintendo DS video games, which have already sold millions in Japan."
The Pokemon Launch Event was an Event so their was no Article about it.But there was a Nintendo Press Release for the members of the Nintendo Press Room.
Well i will start my Review of Super Paper Mario off by talking about the Graphics. The Graphics of this game are great to look at but when you flip into 3-D the graphics are not as great. What i mean by them not being that great in 3-D is that not much was put into the 3-D part of the game to look at.Most of the time the dead end in 2-D when you go to the left or the right sometimes will show up as a wall.Other times there could be an item or an enemy or even an hidden pipe. For the Graphics i will give them an 8 out of 10.
Next i will talk about the Gameplay so here goes. The Gameplay part of flipping from 2-D and 3-D is fun because without flipping between the 2 you will get stuck on a few levels because there are some that require that you get a key to unlock a door and you have to flip between the 2 to find a key or 2.Using the pixles while in 2-D and 3-D will help you in the game too. Some are also required to help you get to the next part of the level you can use them when you flip from 2-D and 3-D with Mario as well.I think that the other 3 heros should have been able to flip between 2-D and 3-D as well for some parts of the game but i will give the Gameplay a 7.5 out of 10.
Next i will talk about music in the game.Well in some levels and Flip and Flop side the music can be fun to listen to and other times it can also get boring. But for some levels the music for the level was very well selected. While other times another song should have been selected. The some songs are remixed while other times it is new or you will hear a few classic themes as well.So i will give the music an 7 out of 10.
Next i will talk about the Story of the game. The story starts off with Toad going to the Mario Bros house telling them that Princess Peach has been kidnapped again.Of course like always Mario and Luigi think that Bowser has kidnapped her.So they go to Bowser's Castle only to find out that he has not even started his attack on the Mushroom kingdom yet.then the 3 find out that some guy named Count Bleck has kidnapped her and of course Mario tried to save her when he saw who has her.then Bleck knockes Mario out and take Bowser and Luigi with him.You finally meet Tippi a pixl looking Fairy who askes you to come with her to flipside then you and her meet up with Merlon who tells you to look up at what's going on you do of course to find out that you see what is happening.Well the Story goes on from there and you will see more or the story as it goes along. But it can be fun and boring at times too so i will say 6 out of 10.
The Fun factor is the last part of this review so here goes.Super Paper Mario is fun while flipping between 2-D and 3-D and the Pixles that you get along the way are fun and helpful to use.Getting to use more then just Mario is a plus.Even tho Bowser is Slow he has stronger attack power with his Fire Attack. The Styles point are fun to get and help you level up faster required in this game by the way.Super Paper Mario can be easy and hard at times. Also some chapters are fun to go back to after words but do it after you beat the game. The Pit of 100 Trials for flipside and flopside are required to finish this game and are very hard until you level up a lot be above level 14 and the boss battles can be easy or hard as well.So i will give this an 8.5 out of 10.
I will give Super Paper Mario overall an 8.9 out of 10.You don't have to agree or disagree with this Review but none the less Super Paper Mario is a must buy game no matter if you like platforming or RPGs both elements work good together as well. This game got me to like the Paper Mario Series and I hated the first 2 games in the series.I may just get Paper Mario when it come out on the Virtual Console. The question now is where does the Paper Mario Series go from here?
Yeah The 2 new Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS have been released. If you are a fan of the Pokemon Series then get them.If you are not then ignore this and read the next update.

Added: News:Take-Two Regains NASDAQ Compliance News:Take-Two Grows Hungry for Wii News:NINTENDO APPLAUDS U.S. GOVERNMENT'S STRONG POSITION AGAINST PIRACY IN CHINA
Nintendo's Press Room has some Nintendo news Chinese related and here is some of it: "Nintendo of America Inc. today announced its strong support of the U.S. Trade Representative seeking formal consultations with China regarding its failure to meet World Trade Organization obligations concerning intellectual property protection and enforcement in China. As part of its uncompromising campaign against international piracy, Nintendo continues to be an outspoken supporter of the U.S. government, given that more than 7.7 million counterfeit video game products from more than 300 Chinese factories and retailers have been seized during the past four years.
Despite aggressive efforts for the past decade, China has built itself to be the leading production site and exporter for counterfeit Nintendo video game products, and has the largest domestic consumption. Despite the millions of counterfeit Nintendo products seized from retailers and manufacturing plants in China through the years, there has only been one criminal prosecution. Numerous factories, where tens of thousands of counterfeit Nintendo products were seized, escaped with only trivial fines or no penalty at all. And often these production sites continue to operate after products are seized. In order to avoid punishment, many counterfeiters are sophisticated and keep stock levels below the criminal thresholds and avoid keeping sales records." Nintendo updated it's Press Room and here is all the Super Paper Mario news: "Super Paper Mario Flips between 2-D and 3-D Perspectives
REDMOND, Wash., April 9, 2007 - Today's launch of Super Paper Mario for Nintendo's red-hot Wii system transports players into another dimension. Like a story ripped from the pages of a paperback novel, Mario has the ability to switch between a 2-D and 3-D perspective. With the motion-sensitive and pointing abilities of the Wii Remote, this first Mario game for Wii delivers the goods.
At the start of the story, a mysterious villain kidnaps Princess Peach and Bowser, and forces the unlikely couple to get married without any paperwork. Mario, always the hero, sets out to save the day before a rift of dark energy tears the universe apart.
"This is one of the most remarkable Mario adventures you've ever seen," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "Millions of Wii owners will be happy, because this game appeals to everyone by providing a fresh perspective on gaming."
Players solve puzzles, perform new actions, learn fresh abilities and beat bosses using the innovative and action-sensitive remote. Players can even navigate through parts of the game as Peach, and of course, Bowser, whose devastating fiery breath burns like lemon juice on a paper cut.
