Game of the Weekend 
The "Game of the Weekend" program has kicked off in the Nintendo eShop, making select digital Nintendo 3DS games available at a discount. This weekend's featured title VVVVVV – a game inspired by the classic 8-bit era and the direction of gravity – is available at a special price of $4.99. Offer is valid from 9 a.m. Pacific time on Friday, June 29, through 9 p.m. Pacific time on Sunday, July 1.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS™ system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. I started a Youtube Video Channel for the site. Any video i add from here on out will be on the youtube channel and i will just link to the videos by number to save the trouble.It will be easy to notice, because it will be like New Super Mario Bros. 2 Video List 1, 2 , 3, and so on. same with other videos too.

Site Birthday: Zelda 101 starts it's 9th year 
Yeah Zelda 101 is 8 years old and will start on it's 9th year online.We still have more plans for the site and i am still going to update everyday when i can. I will update the about us page and i am still in the planning stages of a new idea for my site as well as a new layout.I know i have said a new layout is coming and it is, i am still trying to decide how i can change it and have it not slow down the site. Any one who has any has good ideas for the layout just let me know. I am still going to test out some layout ideas of my own too. I will say that the content will still be in the center like it is now. But if worse comes to worse then i will just change the layout's banner, background image and the background color.It will be a while until i am done with it. So i should think of something new.

Nintendo has some 3DS Game News and here is some of it: "Momentum for the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system continues to build. Tonight, during a special Nintendo All-Access 3DS Software Showcase @ E3 2012 event at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Nintendo shared new information about upcoming Nintendo 3DS games that will launch in 2012, as well as downloadable content in the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo has announced Nintendo Land. It will launch with Wii U. I will add all the details of this and all other games asap. 
Nintendo has talked about Luigi's Mansion 2 and we will have more details on all these games tomorrow. 
Nintendo is talking about Paper Mario 3DS now. 
Nintendo announced has announced Sing. 
Nintendo has announced Wii Fit U and i will add everything i can asap.

We started our Google+ Page now too. We have also finally added the link to our facebook page too it is below the news section. So that should cover all the things we are going to add until after Nintendo's E3 Press Conference.So have fun and enjoy the show at 12 noon. 
I updated the Wii U section with new Wii U system and Wii U Controller sections with info and 3 new screenshots. 1 Wii U Screenshot with Miiverse, and 2 Wii U Gamepad Screenshots. So we will have more later after the Nintendo Press Conference.Don't forget to watch Nintendo's E3 press Conference live and on any form of media channel or web link you prefer. 
Well i cleaned up the index page of our site a bit and i needed to do it too because of Nintendo's E3 Coming in less then 11 hours from now. 
It appears as if Iwata and Nintendo has been watching Nintendo fans during the Nintendo Direct from Friday. Site Updates:Facebook and Twitter pages started 
I have finally started my Facebook and Twitter pages. I am still updating the look of the Twitter page so hang in there with me on that. The facebook page is done and you can check that out even tho it won't have much on it until E3 come tomorrow and it will be me talking about what went down while i will have the huge stuff covered on here. The Twitter page will have the stuff from the facebook page posted too just incase you'd prefer to follow on twitter and not on facebook too.

E3 Count Down: We are almost less then 4 days away from E3!! 
Site News: Zelda 101's Birthday is coming up 
Zelda 101's Birthday is coming up and I am thinking about something to do for it.I have thought about it for a while and so i am finally going to give in and finally start doing a facebook page, a google+ page, and twitter is a question mark for now. I will let you know as the big day comes. But i will start having daily updates again even if it has to be really early and day old news or if it happens that very day too. But first up i am going to create the facebook page. With that let me just start by saying that i might use that as a real time chat too. Anything that you want to talk about game related that you want to talk about will mainly go to our forums which really need active members too by the way. The main news and updates will be here, but our new facebook page will only be a means to come back here for the full content too so you know. It will have a if you want to see more go to our main site for full details post too.Everything will be sorted out as i go along and have the time to as we get more into this too.For now have a good night all and enjoy your weekends.
